Celeste & Sam’s Wedding at 49 Franklin

Celeste and Sam celebrated their wedding with close friends and family at 49 Franklin in Rumford, Maine. The day started out with the girls getting ready at the House of Beauty then to the venue at 49 Franklin to finish getting ready. The wedding ceremony was in the late afternoon/ evening, we were able to sneak the girls outside before the ceremony to grab some shots using nice natural light before it got too dark. The inside of 49 Franklin (which is a church that has been completely restored by the owners) has an old time rustic feel to it, which makes for some interesting textures and light to work with. Congratulations to Celeste and Sam. Here’s some photos from the wedding day.

Julia & Patrick – South Bristol, Maine Wedding

I had the pleasure to shoot Julia & Patrick’s wedding in South Bristol, Maine this past weekend. We had a bit of rain, but it let up enough for us to get some outdoor shots. We started off at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol and shot some casual shots around the rocks with Juila, Patrick, and a close group of friends. Then we headed back to a sea cottage in South Bristol where the wedding ceremony was held. Due to the iffy weather, Julia & Patrick decided to do a first look before the ceremony, this allowed for taking advantage of some of the amazing scenery around the cottage to make some pictures in between bits of rain . The ceremony was moved inside the cottage due to the weather, which lent itself perfectly for a cozy and very intimate ceremony. After the ceremony everyone hung out at the cottage then headed into Damariscotta for a delicious dinner at the Damariscotta River Grill. Julia, Patrick, their family, and friends were so great and fun to be around, and I am honored to have been able to spend the day with them and capture their special day. Here’s a few shots from the day.

Danielle & Mike Portland Maine Wedding

The day started off at Luxe Salon in Brunswick Maine where Danielle and the girls got their hair and makeup done. The ceremony was held at Pines Point in Portland, Maine. It was an intimate ceremony in a beautiful location. We shot some photos on the little beach there, then went over to the gazebo at the Eastern Promenade in Portland to shoot some more photos.
After that we headed back to Danielle’s sister’s house in Topsham, Maine where the reception was held. Danielle and Mike’s guests celebrated with them over some great food, drinks, yard games, dancing, and an awesome brownie tower, with one of the best hand made cake toppers.

Got Married, Got Photographed, & Took Photographs

I got married, my buddy Scotty that shoots with lab/kabn shot the photos, I couldn’t resist and had to take some too. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Hilton Waterfront in Huntington Beach California. We had a small group of family and friends there with us. We got lucky with the weather, it had been raining all the way up to the night before the wedding date, then the morning of the wedding, the weather broke and we had perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony.
Here’s a few shots:

Scotty, thanks again for shooting. We are very pleased with the photos.

Wedding Photos

We drove up to Livermore, CA from Orange County a few weeks ago to attend Steph’s sister’s wedding. We were guests, but I brought my camera along and snapped a couple photos. I really didn’t shoot all that much, just a few here and there. The wedding was at a beautiful vineyard. The food was delicious, they served everything family style which was an awesome idea. They had these mushroom raviolis with a mushroom cream sauce that were so good. We had a great time up there that weekend.
